It’s our new theatre school brought to you by Children’s Theatre veteran Gigi Hudson. She is thrilled to have her own company up and running and thrilled to have incredible teaching artists joining her. Together they will give your children a great theatrical adventure. They are very serious about theatre education! So serious that they believe that theatre should be taught with a word that is not so serious…Fun.
So look inside and see just how much fun your kids can have!

“I wish all children had the opportunity to participate in Actors Garden programs, not only because they stretch their imaginations and learn fundamentals of acting, but also because so many of the theater games teach them how to see the world through another person’s eyes. I’m not an expert in child psychology, but I have to believe that by playing these games, which ask them to imagine what it is like to be another person or animal, they become more empathic and compassionate people. Gigi clearly knows a lot about theater, but she also seems to really understand children and to respect their intelligence, creativity, and tremendous capacity for fun and wonder.”

“Words cannot describe how pleased I am with the program and the Improvisation class my son has been taking. He does not aspire to be a comedian or an actor by any means. All I wanted for him was a fun experience doing something different. Ultimately, what we got was better than imagined. This program has allowed him to apply what he has been learning to his schoolwork. Specifically, his writing has improved. He seems to be more comfortable putting his ideas on paper. The ability to speak/present to groups of people, think fast on his feet and feel comfortable speaking his mind is just priceless. That’s the best part!
So, thank you! Thank you for coming up with such a brilliant idea. My son loves your program!”

“My daughter had such an incredible time last summer in your camp! You do a wonderful job organizing all those kids and putting on a wonderful show. We are glad she has found something she is into – we are already talking about her audition song for next summer.”
Mother of one of our summer camp students
“As a theatre professional and a mom, I couldn’t be happier with the quality of experience Gigi’s summer camp offers. Gigi offers a total package: an excellent administrator, she coordinates all elements of a complicated camp that includes two complete productions of a full-length play, cast completely with children; she compliments the production experiences with appropriate educational enrichment experiences; she manages the welfare and behavior of over fifty exuberant, smart, fast-paced kids; and she delivers a high-quality artistic product, while encouraging the kids to push themselves to their best potential. Throughout all of this, Gigi also manages to make each child feel special and an important part of the whole collaborative effort of theatre. It is Gigi’s outstanding combination of organizational and artistic abilities combined with her humane and personal touch that mark her as a truly gifted community leader.”
